Flights from Polish airport suspended. Passengers must be careful.

Was this supposed to be a late, hassle-free holiday trip? It turns out that even the best-laid plans can be disrupted by the unexpected. Some tourists are having to be patient before setting off. Problems have arisen at Kraków-Balice Airport. "For safety reasons, flight operations to and from Kraków Airport are temporarily suspended. State services are working. Thank you for your understanding," we read in a Facebook post from Kraków Airport.
Problems at the Krakow airportPlanes at Krakow Airport have been grounded, meaning none can take off or land. The runway has been closed, and emergency services are responding. Information about the incident was reported on Kontakt24, among other platforms. One witness reported armed police officers and firefighters working on the apron.
What's the problem? It's unclear at this time. Considering other similar incidents, it's been linked to false bomb threats, unattended luggage, technical issues, or weather. This time, excessive fog or unfavorable weather conditions can be ruled out, although these conditions often led to flight cancellations in Krakow.
"The airport runway is currently closed due to technical issues," Monika Chylaszek, spokeswoman for Kraków Airport, told TVN24 in response to questions from journalists. She also commented that she could not comment on the presence of emergency services or the details of the operation.
The difficult situation was also confirmed by Major Jacek Michałowski, spokesman for the Carpathian Border Guard, in an interview with tvn24.pl. He also did not reveal any details.
Krakow Airport is currently second only to Warsaw Chopin Airport in terms of both passenger numbers and flight operations. Tourists fly from here daily to various parts of the world, using budget airlines like Ryanair and Wizz Air, as well as more expensive ones like easyJet, LOT, Lufthansa, Aegean Airlines, and many others.
