Cheap Monday is back at PKP. Tickets to the seaside are available for 38 PLN.

This is a promotion known as "Monday Departure," which PKP announced on July 21st. It began with discounts on tickets to Masuria, when travel from Warsaw was possible for around 39 PLN , instead of 70 PLN. Since then, tourists have been able to count on a different discount each week. This time is particularly interesting, as connections to the Baltic Sea are also on the cards.
Cheaper to the seaside with PKP IntercityThis time, travelers can buy cheaper tickets for all IC and TLK trains running on the following routes:
- Poznań – Kołobrzeg
- Poznań – Koszalin
- Poznań – Tricity
This means that if you were planning a seaside getaway just before the end of summer, you're in for a treat. On August 18th, the carrier is offering more affordable tickets for second-class travel. For example, the Poznań-Kołobrzeg route will cost 38.40 PLN , and the Koszalin route will cost 37.80 PLN. Travel to Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia will cost around 45.50 PLN. Base prices for these routes are 64.00 PLN, 63.00 PLN, and 70.00 PLN, respectively.
The promotion is valid for travel between August 25 and September 17, 2025.
There's also some sad news. PKP announced that on August 18, 2025, some IC trains will exceptionally operate with replacement carriages and will not have a dining car. Passengers should be prepared for the fact that the seats assigned to them on their tickets will actually be completely different. This concerns IC no. 1624/5 "KRASIŃSKI" on the Białystok – Wrocław Główny (Main) route and IC no. 6125/4 "KRASIŃSKI" on the Wrocław Główny – Białystok route.
As part of the "Monday Departure" campaign, you can purchase discounted tickets to selected destinations every week. Customers only learn which destinations are eligible on the day the promotion begins. Discounts are at least 35%, and the pool of discounted seats is limited. As always, the first-come, first-served principle applies, so interested passengers shouldn't delay purchasing.
