MASTOB President Zafer Süral: We experienced a boom in tourism

Zafer Süral, President of the Manavgat–Side Tourist Hoteliers Association ( MASTOB ), stated that Antalya , which started the 2025 season below expectations, reached the targeted figures thanks to the momentum it gained in the summer months.

Zafer Süral , who claimed that the season in Antalya remained stagnant until July 10, but then experienced a boom in tourism, noted that 14 million tourists had come to the city as of September and that their year-end target was 17 million.

Süral, explaining that they host almost one-third of the tourists coming to Antalya in the Manavgat region, stated that Manavgat is doing its part to reach the target of 65 million tourists and 64 billion dollars in revenue set by Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy .

Süral stated that weather conditions were favorable in October, and that European and Russian tourists continued their holidays, adding that the season would last until the end of November.
