Aşkale in Erzurum was covered in white
Snowfall continued, occasionally increasing in intensity, particularly in higher elevations and the village of Dağyurdu. Snow depths reached several centimeters in some areas. Residents were awed and delighted by the white blanket of snow upon waking, and some took photos to immortalize the moment.
Meteorological officials stated that snowfall could continue intermittently throughout the day, and drivers should be careful against icing.
