The matte black paint and carbon fiber "swan-neck" rear spoiler are a sure sign. The Supra GR A90 coupe appears to be a replica of the car that competes in the GT4 category. It was produced in a limited edition of 300 units, with only five being randomly selected for France. For this version, which marks the final stages of the fifth generation of the Supra, the engineers at the Japanese giant's Gazoo Racing sports car division drew on their racing experience.

Aimed primarily at track day enthusiasts, this Supra Final Edition aims for maximum efficiency and pure performance. It sports the perfect sprinter's kit: anti-roll and strut bars in the engine compartment, a roll cage behind the two Recaro carbon-shell seats draped in suede, adjustable front wheel camber, large-diameter Brembo front brake discs, a front bumper splitter, hood air intake and side fins in carbon fiber, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires offering incredible grip.

The icing on the cake: the KW suspension offers 16 levels of rebound adjustment, 12 levels of compression. It requires a wrench in the glove compartment. Press the button: the revised BMW inline 6-cylinder wakes up the neighborhood with its Akrapovic titanium exhaust. Its performance is expressed with character. The 441 hp (+ 101 hp compared to the 3-liter Evo version) responds to the slightest touch of the accelerator and the 6-speed manual transmission contributes to a pleasure that we thought was over and that requires restoring old driving reflexes. Heel-toe is therefore essential at the wheel of this coupe that makes you want to chase the clock on the circuits.
