Southwest Airlines Rolls Out Its Own Vacation Packages

Southwest Airlines announced Tuesday that it is launching its own in-house vacations package product as part of a slew of changes the carrier has been making to its business model.

The platform, called Getaways by Southwest, will allow customers to earn Rapid Rewards points while booking vacation packages that include flights, hotels, and ground transportation. Southwest will offer vacation packages for over 30 markets, including Las Vegas, Orlando, Hawaii, Punta Cana, and Montego Bay.
