She opened the video with, 'This is a question I get asked quite a lot, both by people off the ship and guests who are actually on the ship.'
The cruise ship worker then revealed: 'But the answer unfortunately is no, we don't get any days off.'
She clarified: 'Well, most of the crew don't get any days off, myself included.'
Anaya went on to explain that an 'unwritten rule' exists between workers that they don't receive time off during their contract.
'The contracts can range from anywhere from three months for some people, up to eight or nine months,' she added.

The worker shared that due to the demanding nature of cruise ships, staff are constantly needed.
She said: 'Because the cruise is running nearly every day of the year, we can't have any days off because obviously we have passengers, and who's going to look after the passengers if everyone's having days off.'
However, workers aren't expected to be constantly on shift.
Anaya admitted: 'Yes this does sound like a lot, and yes this sometimes does feel like a lot but even though we're working seven days a week, that doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be working all of the entire day.'
She explained how in her department, she works in the morning until around midday.
'Then you might be on a shore excursion tour, because I'm the shore ex department, if you're not, you won't start work again until around five in the evening,' Anaya added.
The middle of the day is left for cruise ship workers to do as they wish.
Some may choose to relax on board the ship, explore the port, grab food or a coffee.

'So yes, although that's not a full day off, you're still getting time off to actually enjoy the ports we're going to and enjoy the countries that we're visiting,' Anaya explained.
'What other job in the world can you just wake up and be in a different country.'
She admitted that after a while of working on a cruise ship and not having full days off, 'you just get used to it after a bit'.
'I suppose it's the price you pay for seeing the world, I really don't mind,' Anaya finished.
