The LGS selection process has begun! Here's what you need to know

According to the "Transition to Secondary Education Preference and Placement Guide" released bythe Ministry of National Education ( MEB ), candidates can choose from three groups: schools that accept students based on central exam scores, schools that accept students through local placement, and schools with boarding houses. Students who do not take the central exam can choose from two groups: local placement and schools with boarding houses.

Students who have completed their final registration to private secondary schools and schools that accept students through aptitude tests will not be able to make preferences. Students will be able to choose 5 schools, including the top 3 from the local placement registration area. A maximum of 3 schools of the same school type can be selected. Students may, if they wish, choose 20 schools, including a maximum of 10 from the schools that accept students through centralized exams screen and a maximum of 5 from the boarding schools screen.
