Terrible accident in Şanlıurfa! While repairing the water dynamo, he was caught in the current: He lost his life

According to the information received, the incident occurred in the Surtepe Neighborhood of Birecik district. Yusuf Çemberlitaş (35) entered the Euphrates River to repair the water dynamo used in agricultural irrigation and tried to fix the fault. He was seriously injured as a result of an electric shock. Health, gendarmerie and fire teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of the people in the area.

The seriously injured man who was pulled from the river was taken to Birecik State Hospital by stretcher and carried to the ambulance. Despite the intervention of the doctors, Çemberlitaş could not be saved and lost his life. The body was taken to Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for autopsy procedures.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
