Suspect who killed his brother and sister-in-law was caught after a taxi driver reported him

The defendant, Norooz Ahmadi, killed his brother Ali Ahmadi (25) and his sister-in-law Leeqa Azimi (27) for an unknown reason at around 22:00 in his flat on the 4th floor of an apartment building. The defendant, who called a taxi to escape from the scene, was caught by the taxi driver.

Afghan national Norooz Ahmadi shot his brother Kurban Ali Ahmadi and his sister-in-law Leeqa Azimi with a gun for an unknown reason. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon hearing gunshots. Upon examination by the medical team, it was determined that the couple had lost their lives. After examination, the bodies were taken to the Karabük Education and Research Hospital morgue.

Norooz Ahmadi fled to Eskipazar after the incident by calling a taxi. Police, who were working to find the suspect who was determined to have gotten out of the taxi in Eskipazar district, reached taxi driver Şafak Çomçalı. With the help of the taxi driver, the suspect was caught yesterday while walking on the road to the Mengen district of Bolu. The gun the suspect used in the incident was also seized. Norooz Ahmadi, whose procedures at the police station were completed, was sent to the courthouse today.

The taxi driver Şafak Çomçalı, who described what he experienced, said, "I was at the taxi stand. The person called him and asked for a taxi to the address he said.
