A police officer who had a heart attack during an operation against drug dealers in Kayseri was martyred.
HE HAD A HEART ATTACK DURING THE OPERATION
Police officer İbrahim Birol (41), who is on duty at the Anti-Narcotics Branch of the Kayseri Provincial Police Department , suffered a heart attack during an operation against drug dealers. Birol, who was taken to hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and became a martyr.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM GOVERNOR ÇİÇEK
Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, in a statement he made on his social media account, said, "Our security forces are working relentlessly to prevent drug dealers from passing through Kayseri. In this context, in a red-handed operation conducted today, the poison dealers who did not obey the police's stop warning were caught red-handed and were captured before they could poison our youth. However, in the meantime, our Narcotics Department personnel, police officer İbrahim Birol, suffered a heart attack and could not be saved despite the interventions and was martyred while on duty. I wish God's mercy on our martyr and offer my condolences to his relatives and our entire nation."
