Located in the Kamberiye neighborhood of Şanlıurfa, adjacent to the Mufti's Office, the Prophet Mosque , also known locally as the Circis Prophet Mosque , holds historical significance from both a religious and cultural perspective .

- The structure was built outside the walls of Urfa and is considered to be the tomb of the Prophet Circis.

There are two inscriptions inside and outside the building; there is also a Syriac inscription :
- The inscription written on a column inside the mosque reads:
“This church was completed in the month of Rajab, 1260, during the reign of the young Sultan Abdulmecid Khan (1839–1861) – may God perpetuate his dominion – and during the time of his charitable field marshal Ekrem Salih Vechi Pasha – may God continue his friendship – and during the time of the deputy of the district governor’s office, Bahri Pasha, as the district governor – may God increase his fortune – and during the tenure of Çerkez Hüseyin Ağa – may God increase his value.”
- The marble inscription in the narthex, next to the entrance door, indicates that the building was repaired and converted into a mosque by Muhammed Çarhoğlu in 1965 (1385 AH).
