Mehmet Nuri Ersoy: 100,000 tourists came to Antalya in one day
According to a statement made by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy on his social media account, the number of foreign tourists entering Turkey through Antalya and Gazipaşa airports on July 12, 2025 was recorded as 100,646.
This figure was recorded as the highest daily number of foreign visitors in the last 5 years in July.
Mehmet Nuri Ersoy made the following statement in his social media post:
“ Another new peak in tourism has been left behind in Antalya.
On July 12, 2025, a total of 100,646 foreign visitors entered our Antalya and Gazipaşa airports.
It was recorded as the highest daily number of foreign visitors recorded in July of the last 5 years.
The all-time record of 102,755, set in August 2024, has also come significantly closer.
Antalya's international appeal is growing every day thanks to its strong tourism infrastructure and the determined cooperation of the sector.

Highest July entry in 5 yearsThe ministry's statement noted that the 100,646 foreign tourist arrivals recorded on July 12th were the highest number seen in July between 2021 and 2025. The statement added, "This number of arrivals also came very close to the all-time daily record of 102,755 people set in August of last year."
On July 12, 2025, 98,777 foreign visitors entered Türkiye via Antalya Airport and 1,869 via Gazipaşa Airport, bringing the total number to 100,646.
