Horrific accident in Karaman! Panel van overturns: 7 injured, including 5 children

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Abdulhamid Han Boulevard in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood . According to reports, the Volkswagen panel van, license plate 38 AGV 803, driven by İrfan K., lost control and crashed into a traffic sign on the side of the road.

The impact of the collision sent the vehicle careening into the open field before it overturned and stopped. EK (16), AP (36), YP (9), NM (12), İ.NK (2), and İ.CK (6), who were in the vehicle along with the driver, were injured in the accident. Numerous medical, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured were taken to Karaman Training and Research Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The road, which was temporarily closed to traffic due to the accident, was reopened after the vehicle was removed from the scene by tow truck.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
