The best kayaking trips in Poland- The Barycz Valley is a true gem among kayaking trips. It runs from Krotoszyn to Milicz and from Żmigród to Przygodzice. The landscape is picturesque and lush, offering stunning views of meadows, forests, marshes, lakes, and birds – up to 280 species. The calm current of this right-hand tributary of the Oder River is ideal for families with children and beginner kayakers, so no special skills are required.
- A Kashubian paradise, a kayaking trip down the Brda River – the Queen of Borowiackie Rivers . Here, we'll navigate forests, hills, valleys, lakes, and winding rivers. We'll also visit historical sites such as open-air museums and Gothic castles. The trail here is 280 kilometers long, ending at Lake Szczytno Wielkie. A much shorter, but no less interesting option is a 16-kilometer kayaking trip down the Radunia River and the lakes of the Kółko Raduńskie region.
- On the Dunajec River. Here, the route leads through the picturesque Pieniny Mountains. The trail begins in Nowy Targ and ends in Ujście Jezuickie, and is 200 kilometers long. This is a place for more experienced kayakers, thanks to the turbulent water, occasional accelerations in the current, and branches and depressions protruding from the surface.
- On the rivers of Masuria. In this region of Poland, you'll find 1,200 km of trails, perfect for both those just beginning their kayaking adventure and those seeking a challenge and adrenaline rush. A popular destination for kayaking is the over 100-kilometer-long Krutynia River. Other options include the Łyna and Pisa rivers.
- The Poprad River. This is the last option, and you'll find it on the border between Poland and Slovakia. Here, you can admire the picturesque valleys of the Sądecczyzna region and the mountains. The most recommended section is from Piwniczna-Zdrój to Rytro. It's ideal for beginner kayakers and families with children.
