Surprise for passengers: This airport is also lifting the liquid limit.

Liquid limits in carry-on luggage are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Another major European airport has just introduced changes to regulations that have frustrated passengers for years. Thanks to the purchase and implementation of CT scanners at Dublin Airport, it's no longer necessary to pour the contents of larger bottles into 100-ml containers. This is good news for Poles, who can fly from the Irish capital to eleven Polish cities on Ryanair flights.
Important changes for passengers at Dublin AirportAs of Friday, Dublin Airport no longer requires the removal of liquids and electronics during security checks. The current restrictions on the maximum permitted liquid capacity, which was previously 100ml, have also been lifted.
From now on, all passengers can take bottles up to two liters on board, and there are no regulations regarding the number of bottles allowed or the requirement to pack them in clear bags. Electronics can still be carried in carry-on luggage, and they no longer need to be removed for inspection.
"The rule change is the result of a multi-million-euro upgrade to the scanning technology used to screen departing passengers and their hand luggage," writes the BBC. Thirty such scanners have been installed in Dublin.
These European airports have already changed the rulesAccording to Fly4free.pl, Ryanair flies to Dublin from eleven Polish airports – these are airports in Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Lublin, Łódź, Poznań, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Modlin and Wrocław.
Polish travelers can also take advantage of the recently lifted liquids limit at other European airports. Besides Krakow and Poznań, the rapidly expanding list includes cities such as Milan, Rome, Edinburgh, Vilnius, and Kaunas.
