Poles have a new seaside attraction. It's the first of its kind in the country.

This attraction is located on the Polish coast, specifically in the fishing port between Krynica Morska and Piaski. There, you'll find the Seabird Observation Point. It opened on September 15, 2025, and is already inspiring awe. The space is modern and serves an educational purpose.

The first Seabird Observation Point in Poland was created to facilitate the monitoring of seabirds, but also to promote ornithological tourism.

A definite advantage is that this attraction is located in a popular city. Holidaymakers flock there every year to enjoy the beach and admire the Vistula Spit . Now they have another reason to visit.

"If you're fascinated by birds and love spending time outdoors, or perhaps you've always wanted to explore the world of birds and learn to identify them, our new place is for you," the Elbląg Forest District wrote on Facebook.

This is a success thanks to good cooperation

The project was successfully implemented thanks to the work of many institutions, including Budimex SA, the Drapolicz Association, the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Gdańsk, the Elbląg Forest District, the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gdańsk, the Maritime Office in Gdynia, the municipality and city council of Krynica Morska, and the Pomeranian Regional Tourist Organization.

"We managed to combine the forces of local governments, non-governmental organizations, and businesses. All this to expand knowledge about birds, while educating all interested parties, and simultaneously promoting the region and developing tourism," we read on the Elbląg Forest District's social media.
