A young tourist was "dying in agony." She had contracted a serious illness.

The tragedy occurred on the morning of July 19th. New findings emerged on Friday. The 36-year-old woman had at one point embarked on a ferry journey. She did not feel unwell when she disembarked.

Only after some time did she experience disturbing symptoms – including losing consciousness.

The tragedy was reported by the Giornale di Brescia website and notizie.it. The 36-year-old was traveling by ferry to Formentera, from where she returned to Ibiza. When she lost consciousness for the first time after disembarking, she could have counted on urgent help from emergency services that were called. She was taken to Can Misses Hospital, but before being transported there, she was resuscitated. Her condition was critical, requiring exceptional care (she ended up in the intensive care unit).

Skilled doctors worked tirelessly for five days to save her life. Unfortunately, her heart stopped. "She was dying in agony," a source told notizie.it.

The media that reported the 36-year-old's untimely death did not mention the specific illness that led to her death. It is only known that her family is planning a funeral for her immediately after her body is returned by Spanish authorities.
