Khalid Bin Sultan City will soon be built in Sharjah , a development project created by sustainable development pioneer BEEAH that will redefine the concept of a city.

Designed by world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects , Khalid Bin Sultan City is intended to be a comprehensive, multi-functional project combining residential , commercial , cultural and recreational spaces.

The city of the future will stretch 1.5 kilometers and offer 1,500 residential units. BEEAH aims to create a community focused on building relationships with others and harmony with the environment .

It sounds great, but what does it actually mean? Khalid Bin Sultan City is based on the concept of the five-minute city . It will consist of seven distinct residential districts centered around a central square , which will be designed as a communal space and a hub for social life . It will include children's areas , health clinics , sports facilities , and outdoor cafes . Everything will be arranged to foster interpersonal relationships.

Ecology will also be a key consideration. Sustainability is present in every aspect of the project, making Khalid Bin Sultan City a climate-friendly and waste-free city.

The city will also offer a design and business district , which will become a major new urban center for Sharjah . This area will include incubation spaces for the UAE's growing creative economy and cultural venues that support entrepreneurship and circular design.

Last but not least: This unique project will offer villas , townhouses, and apartments . The housing offering will be diverse, yet based on three key pillars: sustainability , comfort , and modern amenities .
