Tropical pools in a Polish city. Here you can relax on the weekend.

Tropical pools in a Polish city. Here you can relax on the weekend.

The weather in Poland isn't exactly perfect for summer. In many places, temperatures drop below 20 degrees Celsius, and gusty winds and rain can be common. While traditional outdoor pools and spas are out of the question, it's worth exploring interesting alternatives. Tropical pools, saunas, and thermal spas are just some of them.

Tropical pool for bad weather

The weekend is upon us, so we're wondering how to spend our time actively and interestingly. It's not easy when the weather isn't great, and many outdoor activities that normally attract summer visitors have to be abandoned. We recently mentioned warm-water pools and their therapeutic benefits, which are beneficial year-round. These can be found in Masovia, for example. Other parts of Poland also offer true gems in a similar vein.

Kielce, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, boasts unique tropical pools. This indoor water park boasts palm trees, swimming pools, jacuzzis, tube slides, and a lazy river. It's a haven for both children and adults, perfect for a full day of relaxation.

The Binkowski Resort is a true paradise. Highlights include a swimming pool with a water bar, a jacuzzi for foot and spine massages, and a vitality pool with iodide, sulfate, and seaweed additives. The largest pool has a surface area of 320 m² and a water temperature of 31 degrees Celsius.

Adults' area and rooftop pool

The pools aren't limited to the aforementioned area. The Świętokrzyskie Sauna complex and the summer rooftop pool with a relaxation area nestled in the treetops also play a significant role. Unfortunately, this won't guarantee relaxation on cold days, but it's worth considering when the weather improves.

This area was created with adults in mind. It features five different saunas, including a Finnish and infrared sauna. All this in a unique atmosphere and with beautiful views. A prominent feature is the observation deck, cooling pool, and hydromassage pool.

Admission is free, and a full-day family ticket starts at 220 PLN. If you're looking for other similar places, it's worth considering the warm-water paradises in coastal cities. National hits include Aquapark Sopot, with its tropical atmosphere, and Aquapark Reda.
