A breakdown at a Warsaw train station is causing disruptions for passengers.

On Tuesday, August 5th, a breakdown occurred at Warszawa Śródmieście station in the evening. According to RMF FM, SKM trains on lines S1 and S2, as well as "some Koleje Mazowieckie trains," are not stopping at the station.
Trains bypass Warsaw city center. "Power supply problems"The SKM issued a statement regarding the matter. "Due to problems with the power supply on the platforms of the Warszawa Śródmieście stop, from 7:30 p.m. until further notice by decision of the infrastructure manager, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, all SKM trains on lines S1 and S2 in both directions will run via the suburban cross-city line (Stadion, Powiśle and Ochota) WITHOUT STOPPING at the Warszawa Śródmieście stop," reads the Facebook post.
"We are awaiting further information from the infrastructure manager, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe. We will immediately inform you of any changes and updates regarding this situation," the brief statement continued. The Public Transport Authority (ZTM) announced that due to the ongoing complications, Koleje Mazowieckie tickets will be accepted on SKM line S3 trains on the Legionowo – Warsaw Chopin Airport route in both directions.
