Sustainable at the plant market: Woolpot Pot Swap!

During the 2025 Craft Plant Market, you can find pots made from recycled sheep wool at Wool Pots . Together, we're reusing as many plastic pots as possible by having them repotted into these sustainable pots right there at the Craft Plant Market! The plastic pots will then be returned to the growers for reuse. To participate, visit the Wool Pots booth.

How fantastic! Wool Pots make planters from wool, a byproduct often incinerated. The benefits are endless: plants root extra well, snails don't like climbing over the woolen rim, the pot can go straight into the ground, where it forms nutrients—and last but not least : it saves a tremendous amount of plastic!

Find inspiration, get answers to pressing plant and garden questions, and go home with a head full of ideas and a trunk full of unsprayed plants from sustainable growers who are passionate about their craft. You'll find all of this in one beautiful location: the Artisanal Plant Market at Landgoed de Wiersse, which will take place this year on September 27 and 28, 2025.
