Travel Sale 2025: Tickets to Miami from $500, great discounts on travel in Argentina, and many installment opportunities.

It's time to look for travel deals. This Monday, August 25th , Travel Sale 2025 kicked off, a sales campaign offering promotions and benefits for planning trips in Argentina and abroad.
The initiative, promoted by the Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations (FAEVYT), will run until August 31.
The initial promise is that you'll be able to find "discounts of up to 60%, promotions, benefits, and exclusive opportunities ," according to FAEVYT, which also confirmed the participation of 148 travel agencies across the country.
With offers that change daily—and hourly— the Travel Sale can be a great opportunity to plan getaways and vacations with prices and benefits that make a difference.
Or dare to take an unexpected trip if you come across a difficult-to-dodge proposal.
One of the main objectives of this sales campaign is to strengthen travel within Argentina and during the low season, and that's why good offers are appearing in this regard, both with discounted prices and attractive bank installments (it can be 6 or 12, but an agency like Despegar, for example, has 15 interest-free installments with ICBC on domestic trips).

Aerolíneas Argentinas launched a 10% discount on domestic flights and interest-free installments (up to 12%, depending on the bank). And Plataforma 10, the bus ticket sales website, also offers discounted prices and installments.
"An important fact is that there are very good promotions for domestic tourism during the low season (until the end of November); classic 4-day, 3-night packages to places like Iguazú, El Calafate, Bariloche, etc. There are proposals between 300,000 and 500,000 pesos - there are price variations depending on the hotel category, for example - and you can even get one for 250,000 pesos. This implies discounts of 22% on average ," explains Martín Romano, spokesperson for Travel Sale.
To understand the scale of these types of events, last year, the week in which Aerolíneas Argentinas sold the most airline tickets was the Travel Sale.

The issue of fees also stands out : there are many agencies that offer financing, while there are others that do not.
Now , be realistic : you probably won't get a super discount for a long weekend (there's one at the end of November) or for traveling to Bariloche in the middle of January. But you have to be careful.
Are there discounts on travel abroad? Are there any summer vacation promotions? Are there quotas for international travel?
Yes to everything, but let's clarify things a bit.
Travel agencies are selling trips abroad with promotions . In fact, Aerolíneas Argentinas is offering 10% off airfare to regional destinations, as well as to Miami, Madrid, and Rome. Travel Sale has extended a 20% discount on tickets to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Cancún (Mexico). All of these offers are for completing the trip before December 20th.

"For high season , from what I've seen so far, there are good prices with a 5 to 12% discount ," says Romano, listing packages to the Caribbean, Brazil, cruises, and even some packages to Europe.
"Some operators have launched some package quotas and are playing with attractive prices," he says, adding: "There may be some packages with a 25% discount, but you have to look for them ."
A specialist in constantly looking for good prices , Matías Mute of Promos Aéreas is enthusiastic on the other end of the phone: "These events can be very good or very bad; there's no middle ground. And to my surprise, this edition of Travel Sale has been incredible ."
From midnight (when the sale started) until noon this Monday, the website has already posted 50 offers, including some gems like tickets to Miami starting at $489 ("A freebie, it usually costs $600 or $700," says Mute. It started at that price, but by now it's sold out and is now listed at $549); packages to "rare" destinations like Curaçao or Costa Rica with good prices, or direct flights to Salvador de Bahía (Brazil) for $287 for October or November ("a bargain," he says).

His summary of the start of this first day of Travel Sale is as follows: surprise with the new airlines that joined with very attractive promotions; and for travel abroad, the best deals are on flights to the Caribbean and Europe, packages to Brazil and the Caribbean, and all-inclusive hotel stays.
Several also agree that it's a good time to complete the planning of a trip : purchase travel assistance, add excursions or activities, or, if you only have airfare, arrange stays.
The issue of installments is also important to clarify . Bank installments are for domestic trips. The installments for trips abroad that you see are the result of financing offered by the same agencies.
At Turismocity, for example, they offer three interest-free installments for international packages : you pay 40% on the first installment, followed by two installments of 30%. On this platform, they offer comparisons: A package to Rio that cost $1,049 is now available for $801 (a 30% discount); a package to Punta Cana that was $1,899 is now $1,799 (a 5% discount).
" Brazil and the Caribbean are going to sell a lot because they are destinations that already have a lot of demand," says Julián Gurfinkiel, founder of Turismocity.
Some believe this Travel Sale could boost purchases until January 2026, and not much longer . This is due, among other things, to the fact that Cyber Monday takes place at the beginning of November (in this case, sales in various categories, including tourism), a date when many people have a better idea of how much they were able to save for vacations, for example.
Others also point out that some sales were good, even before this campaign: this is the case for Travel Services, which had a peak in pre-sale sales for trips to Madrid from travelers who didn't want to wait for the Travel Sale to search for tickets.

But it's also often an opportunity that other companies in the sector join in , launching their own sales campaign.
For example, Smiles Argentina has Smiles Sale, a week of promotions that combines discounts on airline tickets with exclusive benefits for its customers: tickets with up to 20% discounts to destinations in Brazil, the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe, and promotions on the purchase of miles.
Until Sunday, August 31, several select Costa Cruises ships are participating in the Costa Sale, allowing discounted itineraries to Brazil, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and transatlantic voyages between Argentina and Italy.
A chain like Álvarez Argüelles Hotels —with establishments in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires City, La Plata, Salta, La Pampa, Neuquén, and Ushuaia—is offering up to 25% off stays from August 25, 2025, to June 30, 2026, at all of its hotels (excluding the summer season in Mar del Plata).
And the low-cost airlines JetSmart and Flybondi are also joining in with their own offers.
JetSmart has "Travel Smart" promotions with discounts on tickets within Argentina and abroad. But as a flash sale, today it launched the "Baratito" promotion : applying this code on domestic routes offers discounts of up to 50% (until tomorrow, August 26th at 10:00 a.m.).
Flybondi, for example, launched FlySale with fares starting at $17,999 final per leg for travel to all its domestic destinations between September and December 2025 and March and June 2026. For international flights, fares start at $151,000 final round trip.
