This beautiful valley in Castile-La Mancha is "a secluded corner of the Gévalo Valley," as described on the regional tourism website. In addition to being home to a tremendous biodiversity of flora and fauna, it also boasts a wealth of streams and waterfalls that cascade from the stone rafts that give the place its name. If you want to explore this extraordinary spot, the ideal option is to complete a magnificent nine-kilometer route that takes in its most magnificent landscapes.

The starting point of the route is the Las Hunfrías cemetery, a hamlet belonging to the municipality of Robledo del Mazo. The first part of the trail runs through a vast pine forest where trekking enthusiasts can already get a sense of the grandeur of the surroundings. Three kilometers into this fascinating route, you reach a small wooden cabin that marks the beginning of the microreserve. Just beyond this, hikers come across the first waterfall.
