Neither Orbaneja del Castillo nor Trillo: the town an hour and a half from Barcelona with one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Spain

However, what not many people know is that not far from Barcelona, you can visit a town with one of the most exciting waterfalls in the country, considered one of the great gems of Catalonia: the town of Cantonigròs.
This small town of just 340 inhabitants is located just an hour and a half by road from Barcelona and belongs to the municipality of Santa María de Corcó. Near the town center is the Osona region's greatest treasure, the Foradada de Cantonigròs, an incredible waterfall nestled in a unique setting and accessible via an extraordinary hiking trail; however, you must first explore the town center.

How to get to CantonigròsThe town of Cantonigròs is located approximately 100 kilometers from Barcelona. To get there from the capital of Catalonia, take the C-33 for a few minutes and then merge onto the C-17. Around Vic, take the C-25 until you exit onto the C-153 , then join the BV-5207. Finally, take the detour that leads to the town.
