Saint-Georges-des-Coteaux: the Tadzio Quartet in concert

By Florence Lonlas
On Sunday, August 17, violinist Lucie Moreau and the three other members of the Tadzio Quartet will perform at the church of Saint-Georges-des-Coteaux.
Saint-Georges violinist Lucie Moreau will perform in concert on Sunday, August 17, with the Tadzio Quartet. Formed in 2023 by four students from the Paris Regional Conservatory, the Tadzio Quartet has generated enthusiasm from its very first concerts. Along with Lucie Moreau, it comprises Cyprien Fohr (piano), Mathilde Weil (viola), and Paul Manent (cello). It is part of that rare lineage of piano quartets with a permanent vocation.
The insufficient frequency of these ensembles justifies one of their major wishes: to defend a sometimes neglected repertoire, by interpreting the greatest masterpieces as well as forgotten gems or contemporary creations. Its members are now based in Berlin, Neuchâtel, Paris and Saint-Georges-des-Coteaux, their reunion is for them the occasion of a captivating musical journey, the beauty of which is due as much to their expertise as instrumentalists as to their remarkable ensemble cohesion.
