Rochefort Firefighters Festival: the fire station will dance to the rhythm of Brazil

The afternoon is dedicated to open days, a way for Jean-François Guibert, president of the Amicale , to thank the people of Rochefort: "When we started organizing the ball in 2017, it was out of gratitude for the population, who had mobilized a lot to get us a new fire station." An afternoon full of activities, accessible to families: presentation of vehicles and outfits, demonstrations of firefighter specialties, young firefighter course, diving baptisms for 8-16 year olds, Harley-Davidson baptism and other activities.

Starting at 7 p.m., it's time to party! For this 2025 edition, the firefighters have thought big with a 400 m² space. The ball, open to all, will take place on the theme of "Brazil." Three refreshment stands will be set up, including one on an artificial beach, as well as a food stand. A festive and friendly evening, as Fred Saintjievin, one of the organizers, emphasizes: "It's a popular ball, you can see it in the music and the entertainment offered. We have a very diverse audience." On the music side, two concerts are planned starting at 8:30 p.m.: Caixa-ça and Showys. DJ Ben will take over from 10:30 p.m. until the end of the evening, scheduled for 2 a.m.

The highlight of the ball: the firefighters' show, scheduled for 11:30 p.m., just before the fireworks. The latter, however, remains subject to final authorization, expected Friday morning, but organizers are optimistic.
