Lamborghini Fenomeno, a phenomenal berlinetta

The seventh model produced in a limited series since the 2007 Reventon, the new supercar from the Sant'Agata firm celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Centro Stile.
The lines have become more subdued and elegant, but the origins are clear. The Fenomeno berlinetta bears the signature of the Italian brand from Sant'Agata, bearing the image of a fighting bull. Moreover, this new model, presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California, continues a tradition begun by the Miura. Fenomeno is the name of a very brave and famous bull that fought in Morelia, Mexico, in 2002. During a bullfight between two bullfighters, the bull was pardoned for the exceptional qualities it displayed. The Fenomeno supercar celebrates the 20th anniversary of the birth of the current Centro Stile in Sant'Agata.
Not content with being produced in a limited series of 29 units, the Italian firm's new model is a style manifesto. It announces a new formal language turning its back on sharp edges for purer and more elegant lines. Around an unusual length for a supercar of 5.01 m, a width of 2.07 m and a height of 1.16 m, the architecture remains identical however with a rear-central engine, a very forward cockpit and a long rear hood contributing to aerodynamics. The enormous triangular cutout in the sides constitutes the main originality of the design with the Y-shaped rear lights.
The GT Fenomemo belongs to the Lamborghini limited series family, which has already produced the Reventón, the Sesto Elemento (2010), the Veneno (2013), the Centenario (2016), the Sián (2019) and the Countach (2021) since 2007.
Based on the Revuelto plug-in hybrid berlinetta, the Fenomeno sits on a carbon monocoque body. Its powertrain combines the 835 hp 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors with a combined output of 245 hp, two at the front and the third at the rear, in the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The combination delivers 1,080 horsepower. The electric machines are powered by a new 7 kWh battery pack. As a sign of the technology transfer between racing and road, the Fenomeno borrows its CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic braking system from the LMDh SC63 prototype.
The manufacturer announces exceptional performance for its new creation: a top speed of 350 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and the 200 km/h mark reached in 6.7 seconds.
