UK Foreign Office issues warring to anyone heading to popular beach holiday destination

The British Government has issued a fresh safety warning for tourists travelling to Turkey.
On the FCDO advice page for Turkey, the government has advised travellers to take care when ordering a taxi.
Tourists have been warned that taking a ride in an 'unofficial taxi' could be extremely 'risky'.
The new government warning said: 'Accepting lifts from drivers of unofficial taxis is highly risky.
'Find a registered taxi, note the registration number before entering and ensure the fare is metered.
'App-based taxis and pre-booked taxis are also widely available.'
Ride-hailing apps such as Uber are available in Turkey and tourists can use these to secure a taxi.
Tourists have also recently been warned to take care when doing extreme sports in Turkey.

In advice issued on the FCDO page, the government urged tourists to make sure they receive 'full instructions' before going paragliding.
It said: 'Paragliding is an extreme sport and carries the risk of serious injury or death. British nationals have died or been seriously injured whilst paragliding in Turkey.
'Make sure you are given full instructions and training before your activity. If you are near where paragliding activities take place, be aware that the landing area may be in a public area.
'Keep a reasonable distance from potential landing zones for your personal safety.'
