The pretty English city that's 'one of the most picturesque' and dubbed a mini Paris

This scenic city often gets forgotten about, it’s a quiet yet beautiful location that’s no doubt worth visiting. In summer, this cathedral city attracts visitors from all over the world and it’s just a short train ride away from Dover (30 minutes) and London (90 minutes).

Canterbury is famous for its beautiful picturesque scenery and has been compared to Paris. It’s a quintessential English city home to cobbled streets and incredible gardens. Canterbury’s medieval city centre bustles with famous name stores and exclusive boutiques while the picturesque side streets are home to smaller specialist shops, pubs and restaurants making it an exciting day trip.

Another must-do while you’re there is to visit Westgate Gardens. This scenic area looks like it’s straight out of a film.
