Türkiye sends aid to Gaza: 100 trucks of supplies sent

The statement, which stated that a total of 101,725 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered to the region with 16 ships and 14 planes since October 7th with the contributions of NGOs in Turkey, said, "Our country, which does not remain silent in the face of the atrocities taking place in Gaza, continues its humanitarian aid activities in the region with the contributions of all relevant institutions, organizations, and NGOs under the coordination of our AFAD Presidency. Since October 7, 2023, a total of 101,725 tons of humanitarian aid supplies have been delivered to Gaza with 16 ships and 14 planes. In this context, the passage of 333 trucks of supplies to Gaza has been ensured since July 27, 2025."
The statement, which noted that humanitarian aid activities have accelerated since the ceasefire in Gaza on October 8 , included: "100 trucks of supplies, along with humanitarian aid sent with the coordination of AFAD, the Turkish Red Crescent, and contributions from other NGOs in our country, were delivered from the Egyptian city of El Arish to the Karem Abu Salem border gate in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent. The transit of tents is also planned, along with 17 trucks of food and three trucks of blankets. We continue to work in coordination with all institutions, organizations, and NGOs to meet the humanitarian needs in the region."
"MORE DONATIONS SHOULD BE MADE"
Social media users are calling for increased humanitarian aid to the region following the ceasefire, stating that more donations are needed to organizations like AFAD, the Red Crescent , and IHH.
