The injured person was rescued by being carried down the cliffs on a stretcher with difficulty.

Fehmi Elibol, who climbed steep cliffs to collect cave honey in the Kemah district of Erzincan , was found unconscious after hours of search and rescue work. Elibol, who had fractures in various parts of his body, was brought down from the mountain with difficulty and taken to hospital.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon near the village of Eriç in the Kemah district. When no news was received from Fehmi Elibol, who set out to collect natural honey made by bees in a cave in the mountainous area in the region, the villagers became worried. A group of villagers, led by the village headman of Eriç, Fethi Bülbül, started a search on foot despite the difficult terrain conditions.
After approximately 3-4 hours of searching, Elibol was found unconscious in an area close to the cave. The 112 Emergency Service and gendarmerie teams were immediately notified. In order for the medical teams to reach the scene, Elibol was carried on a stretcher for approximately 2 hours, in the dark and on rough terrain, and brought to the ambulance.
Elibol, who received first aid at Kemah State Hospital, was later transferred to Erzincan Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital. After the evaluations here, the elderly man, whose condition was serious, was transferred to an advanced hospital in Erzurum . During the checks, it was determined that Elibol had serious damage to his spine, arms, hips and lungs.
