Şirin Akçay, a shopkeeper and relative of a martyr from Mardin, stated their support for the process, saying, "Hopefully, the weapons have been laid down. We pray to God that our state will never face such a problem, such a problem, again. We want our state to grow, we want the security of our nation. We don't want any more bloodshed.
