Antalya Reaches Highest Number of Foreign Visitors in 5 Years

Antalya tourism achieved another impressive success in July 2025. Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced that a total of 100,646 foreign visitors entered Türkiye via Antalya and Gazipaşa airports on July 12, 2025. This figure marked the highest daily number of foreign visitors recorded for July in the last five years.

One Step Away from the All-Time Record

In a social media post, Minister Ersoy stated, "Antalya's international appeal is growing every day thanks to its strong tourism infrastructure and the industry's determined collaboration." He emphasized that this success is no coincidence. Ersoy stated that the efforts undertaken with the vision of "Turkey's Century" are further advancing the country's tourism sector and thanked everyone involved.

According to ministry data, 98,777 foreign tourists entered the country via Antalya Airport and 1,869 via Gazipaşa Airport on July 12. This figure is almost on par with the all-time daily record of 102,755, set in August 2024.

Antalya's Strength in Tourism is Increasing

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that the data dated July 12 represented the highest daily foreign visitor arrivals for July between 2021 and 2025. Tourism professionals say this increase reflects both Antalya's brand value as a destination and Türkiye's strategic achievements in tourism.
