There has never been such an attraction. The most modern water park in Europe will be built in Poland

The Rzeszów City Office has published photos of the new city water park. The visualizations are really promising - it looks like the Podkarpacie facility will be one of the most modern facilities in Europe. Guests of the complex will be able to use a unique attraction here, unavailable in Poland - a sandy beach built inside the water park. The area around the water park, where a real city of the future will be located, will also delight.

Rzeszow with a new aquapark

The topic of building a water park in Rzeszów is heating up fans of this type of entertainment throughout Poland. After all, it is here, in the Podkarpacie region, that one of the most modern water parks in Europe is to be built. At the last session of the City Council, further details regarding the investment were provided. It is known that the purchase of land has already been made, and the construction project itself is ready. Now, the companies responsible for its implementation have been joined by Dutch architect Winy Maas from the MVRDV studio. He will take care of the surroundings near the water park, which will be transformed into a real park of the future, with attractions such as a virtual zoo and roller coasters and kinetic water sculptures. The cost of the entire undertaking, including the construction of the water park, is estimated at over PLN 250 million.

Guests will enter in 2027

Residents of Rzeszów and tourists will not have to wait long for the finished water park and the attractions located nearby. The completion of the works is planned for 2027. "The Rzeszów water park will occupy an area of ​​6 hectares (...). The construction of such a facility is very demanding, but we are consistent," says the president of Rzeszów, Konrad Fijołek.

Inside, there will be room for solutions that have not been available in Poland or even Europe so far. These include a large sandy beach that will be located inside the facility. Among the unique attractions, there is also a swimming pool with a movable bottom, the depth of which can be changed depending on your needs, sauna gardens, and even special wine spa treatments. "The sauna will be acoustically separated from the rest of the facility. It will have rain gardens that collect rainwater for irrigation and creating a microclimate," writes rzeszow-news.pl.
