Prosecco Cycling: Slow Pedaling Wins

The format of the Valdobbiadene event ranking - which can be summarized as the formula 'less competition, more fun' - is truly unique and the party reaches its peak with the arrival of the last classified. The individual ranking is determined by time of three timed climbs: Via Busi (1,600 metres with an average gradient of 8.9%), Ca' del Poggio (1,200 metres, 11.7%) and Collalto (1,500 meters, 6.3%). Three more are then planned team rankings: the Fun Team will crown the team that will achieve the best time until the end of the third timed climb, with the particularity that the group must be made up of at least five cyclists who must cross the finish line within 30 seconds. Another The ranking will reward the teams capable of placing at the finish line the highest number of cyclists in 30 seconds. Then there is a special prize, represented by the 'We2gether' ranking, which will go to the team that will present itself at the finish line by making the scenography that best interprets the spirit of the event. In the last edition they participated in the event among the vineyards over 2,700 enthusiasts, including 700 foreigners from 26 nations.
