Tyrosse Festival Bullfight: Molina, a bullfighter who deserves to tour

This matador from Albacete successfully presented himself in the Marcel-Dangou arenas during a show marked by the caste of toros of Pagès-Mailhan

Jesus Enrique Colombo : third-party greeting and injury. José Fernando Molina : hi and 2 ears. Tristan Barroso : silence and 1 ear.

Six Pagès-Mailhan bulls, presented in a very dignified manner, were pricked nine times. With the exception of the third, who was arrested in his charges, the rest of the lot displayed a certain class. The fifth, Flor de Gamon 2 – number 101, born in March 2021 – was honored with a posthumous lap.

The character of these Pagès-Mailhan bulls helped to add depth to this bullfight at the Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse festival, during which Jesus Enrique Colombo (vermilion and gold) ended up in the infirmary. The Venezuelan suffered a double fracture of his left forearm, following a shock received when delivering a blow, without even a muleta, to his second opponent. He had previously shown himself to be extremely fiery, as evidenced by his third banderillas that had an effect on the audience and his faenas, which were more flashy than profound.

Classicism

With his bullfighting stripped of all superfluity, José Fernando Molina (cinnamon and gold) proved that he was a bullfighter worthy of touring the ferias. His faena against the second bull from Pagès-Mailhan, begun on his knees, was highly accomplished. The classicism that this bullfighter from Albacete expresses, muleta presented in front and held down, would certainly have been celebrated differently in a bullring of the highest importance. It was thus necessary to wait until the fifth bull for José Fernando Molina to reap the rewards of his efforts, with two ears rewarding a faena, once again, conducted with authority and slowness. Regarding Tristan Barroso (lilac and gold), the results are mixed. Unconvinced against the third, he shortened his faena but lingered with the sword. However, he showed more determination in the sixth. Faced with a bull that demanded a lot, Tristan Barroso delivered and won the battle.

About 4/5 of the arena. Preliminary lap of the rugby players of US Tyrosse, double French champion in Fédérale 1 and Espoirs fédéral.

Jesus Enrique Colombo offered his first faena to Iban Laclau and his teammates of the US Tyrosse rugby team.
