Rochefort Agglo: Jazz Wednesdays are back this summer

And it's in Rochefort that we'll hear the first notes. On the program, starting at 6 p.m., is a discovery of the Chante-Alouette neighborhood. At 7 p.m., the trio The Gentle Art of Bass will perform at the former Chante-Alouette town hall.
But the music is spreading throughout Caro. Starting July 30, the town of Fouras will welcome the public. Activities will begin at 5 p.m., with a musical reading at the town's media library. Isabelle Pradeau will take the opportunity to revisit the history of jazz, accompanied on the saxophone by Xavier San Miguel. The Fouras Museum, meanwhile, invites you to investigate: a mysterious suitcase has been found missing. By exploring it, will you be able to discover the identity of the jazz musician who owned it? Guitarist Christophe Brunard will perform at the concert. He draws inspiration from gypsy jazz to adapt traditional pieces.
For the third Wednesday of the concert, the event is held in the town of Saint-Hippolyte. At 4 p.m., the Compagnie des Eaux will present an exhibition on the journey of water. In the evening, Christophe Duplan will perform, a blues artist who leaves plenty of room for improvisation.
On August 13, the Moragne town hall is organizing a discovery walk of the town's heritage at 5 p.m. For the concert, it will welcome Ed Girard, a Rochefortais specializing in the vibraphone.
