Holidays in Béarn: where to taste Jurançon, a wine from a land blessed by the gods?

> All our ideas for a vacation in the Southwest here
Unlike other wine-growing regions where plots are located far from the village, one next to the other, the properties in Jurançon are very scattered, with their own exposures and soil varieties: alluvium from the secondary era in Monein, "pudding" style soils at the chapel of Rousse, marl and limestone rocks at the foot of the Lasseube mountains. This gives a unique character to each grape.

This route offers 60 wineries to discover. And what could be nicer than meeting a winemaker? They're sure to offer you a glass of white wine! Choose from dry Jurançon, which is rather refreshing, with notes of citrus and exotic fruits; or sweet Jurançon, which lingers on the palate, combining sugar and acidity, ideally enjoyed as an aperitif, accompanied by foie gras, or with dessert.
Or the late-harvest Jurançon, made from grapes ripened and dried on the vine until late autumn, which offers a concentration of sugars and aromas of dried fruits, spices, and candied fruits. All of this should be enjoyed in moderation, of course.
