It is one of the favorite holiday destinations and for this winter it launched discounts on hotels and frozen rates.
The 2025 winter break is fast approaching, and some people are starting to look for family travel options to take advantage of the school break.
In this context, one of Patagonia's star destinations decided to compete strongly and seek out tourists with concrete and tempting offers.
San Carlos de Bariloche , in Río Negro, launched the "Bariloche Sale" campaign . The offer includes frozen rates on ski passes for Cerro Catedral and other access points, as well as discounts of up to 40% on accommodations and dining , available throughout the winter season and until the end of September.
The proposal is aimed at the Argentine market and seeks to compete on price with other tourist destinations in the region.

"It's very important to us that Bariloche remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the winter and throughout the year ," said Diego Piquín, Executive Director of Emprotur, the local tourism agency.
"An incredible city within a National Park with all the options to enjoy. Snow for skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, snowmobiling, romantic dinners, land and lake excursions, among hundreds of options ," the official explained.
Snow is the centerpiece of a winter vacation in the Patagonian mountains. Here are some prices that remain unchanged, as announced by the local Tourism Department.
- The Cerro Catedral lift pass will remain at the same price as last season: $115,000 for adults. At the time of writing, rates had not yet been set on the winter resort's website.

- Piedras Blancas , resort entrance and chairlift ride, from $30,000 pesos. This rate also includes various experiences such as sledding, ziplining, and tubing.
- Cerro Otto Cable Car : tickets from $30,000 for adults and $20,000 for children and seniors.

- Other excursions: Travel agencies in the city announced a few months ago that their rates would be "frozen" until December 31.
- Benefits and discounts of up to 40% on accommodations, hotels, restaurants, and shops in the city. The promotions will be available for purchase during the month of June and can be used for reservations made between July 1 and September 30. The Sheraton Bariloche, for example, will offer a 20% discount. Meanwhile, the premium Villa Labrador cabins maintain their winter 2024 rates.
